(Married to Zosha, Age 35)

I am the English contributor to the American Family Blog. How times have changed. There was a period when this would have been called the British Colonial Family Blog (OK so the internet wasn’t around then but you know what I mean). You will find that my posts are the only ones where things are spelde properlee and, well, written properly. I am just imagining my wife Zosha reading this later, so in order to avoid a clip around the ear from her or the rest of my American family, I’ll switch to another topic.
So, I was born and raised in England, London to be precise. I came to the US about four and a half years ago. The plan was to go back to the UK but then something amazing happened. I met Zosha and have been under her spell ever since. My interests, and hence the things I am most likely to be blogging about, are world politics (the UK, US, Europe, Pakistan and the rest of the Muslim world), Islam, linguistics and the Urdu language. I will sometimes post some thoughts in Urdu, particularly those relating to Pakistani politics.
